PM Daksh
The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (MoSJ&E), caters for empowerment of the socially, educationally and economically marginalized sections of the society including SCs, OBCs, De-notified Tribes (DNTs), EBCs, Safai Karamcharis including Waste Pickers. Most of the persons of target group are having minimal economic assets; therefore, provision of training and enhancing their competencies is essential for economic empowerment/ upliftment of these marginalized target groups.
The focus of the programme would be on providing high quality skills through good quality institutions so that the training can result in finding jobs or self employment ventures. Apart from this, rural artisans who have become marginalized owing to coming of better technologies in market, would be trained so as to adopt newer processes and increase their incomes.
The programme also engages with skilling the Safai Karamcharis including Waste Pickers, and Women so that they can engage in self-employment activities. With the above in mind, a National Action Plan for the marginalized persons of SC, OBC, EBC, DNT, Safai karamcharis including waste pickers and named ‘Pradhan Mantri Dakshta Aur Kushalta Sampann Hitgrahi’ (PM-DAKSH) Yojana has been approved.
The scheme would be implemented by the three Public Sector Undertakings of Department of Social Justice and Empowerment viz. National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC), National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation (NBCFDC) & National Safai Karamcharis Finance and Development Corporation (NSKFDC).
UPSUDA
UPSDM has been established to make the youth employable by providing free vocational training. It is the first effort of its kind to run five Central Government & one state Government skill development schemes in integrated & uniformly standardized way. Privilege has been given to weaker sections of society i.e. scheduled caste, minority, women & BPL candidates etc. The candidate must be the resident of Uttar Pradesh and should have age falling in 14- 35 years age group (for BOCW scheme, upper limit is extended to 50 years).
However, an overall coverage of 20% candidates from minorities and 30% women candidates is mandated, taken all the schemes together. Besides this a State skill Development Fund (a Top-up fund) is created to meet out the additional expenses needed in order to ensure integration. Following the common minimum norms adopted by mission 70% of the successfully certified candidates will be the minimum target for placement, out of which wage employment should be not less than 50% in any case.
Indian Red Cross Society
The Indian Red Cross Society Haryana State Branch is to prevent and alleviate suffering with complete impartiality, making no discrimination as to nationality, race, sex, religious beliefs, language, class or political opinions. To be a leading humanitarian organisation in India, improving the lives of vulnerable people through services delivered and promotion of humanitarian laws. To promote the Fundamental Principles of the Movement and the International Humanitarian Law in order to inculcate humanitarian ideals among the population, and in particular among children and youth.
PMFME
The PMFME scheme is being implemented with ODOP theme under which entrepreneur choosing to expand or set up units for manufacture of specific product are selected for credit linked grant. Under the scheme, existing units manufacturing other products (non ODOP for the district) are also extended support. Therefore, in terms of training, for a particular district, the entrepreneurs could be either ODOP trainees or non-ODOP trainees. For the state, apart from EDP training, a few products specific training (ODOP Training) would be imparted.
NULM
National Urban Livelihoods Mission (NULM) is jointly being implemented by Government of India (GoI), Government of Madhya Pradesh (GoMP) and the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) of the State. The Mission is being implemented in 55 ULBs of State in the starter phase. It is committed to enrich livelihoods of the urban poor on sustained basis by combining skill training, job placements, self employment, social security and institutional development.
CSSDA
The authority is liable for the coordination of all the efforts regarding skill development across the state and the removal of cut off between supply and demand of skilled workforce, building technical and vocational training framework, building new skills, skills upgrades and innovative thinking, for both existing and new jobs.
It is aimed to improve skills on large scale with high standards and speed to achieve the vision of “Skilled India”. It is also responsible to work with exist5ing network of universities, international organizations, state government and NGOs for multi-level engagement and implementation of efforts for skill development.
MSSDS
To achieve this Skill Development Mission in the state of Maharashtra, Maharashtra State Skill Development Society has been registered on 15th February 2011 under the Societies Registration Act 1860. The Society is established . and is the Single Nodal Agency for planning, coordination,execution & monitoring of Skill Development Initiative of Government of Maharashtra.The society is functioning under the Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Department, Government of Maharashtra.
PMKVY
Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) implemented by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). The objective of this Skill Certification scheme is to enable Indian youth to take up industry relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood.
PMGDISHA
Making one person in every family digitally literate is one of the integral components of the Prime Minister's vision of "Digital India". Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyaan is the scheme to make six crore persons in rural areas, across States/UTs, digitally literate, reaching to around 40% of rural households by covering one member from every eligible household by 31st March, 2019.
